Students, faculty and staff at southern virginia university are committed to being academically or professionally accomplished, spritually rooted, service oriented and self-reliant. We embody southern virginia's core values, which are scholarship, discipleship, accountability, enthusiasm and refinement. Southern virginia university seeks to establish a replicable self-sustaining model of higher education that can serve latter-day saints throughout the world.
Programs: Southern virginia university is a private, non-profit, residential four year college which served approximately 900 average full and part-time students per semester in the academic year 2016-2017. During 2016-17 academic year 127 students graduated with bachelors degrees.
