Mission: • promote bull riding in Southern California as a sport and profession, striving always and committed to the betterment of the community giving the youth an alternative sport to participate in • to insure honesty and fairness amongst its members; • to create an amicable relationship among stock contractors, board members, and contestants; • to organize, sanction, and advertise bull riding being sponsored within the association standards and to the prevention of cruelty to animals • To promote and foster friendly competition • To foster professionalism among families and participants in and out of the arena. • To create an environment of encouragement for each participant while having fun and building life-long lasting friendships • To create opportunities for notoriety and recognition for those participants who achieve excellence in their individual events. • To prepare participants to ascend to the next level bull riding (College Rodeo, Professional Rodeo, etc.).

SCYBR is a fantastic group! The president and secretary work extremely hard to give back to the youth. They are patient and great leaders. SCYBR is a great family friendly association and the friends made are life long. I’d recommend SCYBR to everyone!

Southern California Youth Bull Riders is such an amazing organization! I am so proud and blessed to be a part of this nonprofit.
My son has developed and grown so much this year with the help of the members, he is more active and proud of his accomplishments. The team has taught him to work hard an to use failure as an opportunity to grow and learn. The patience and teachings from the President, Jr. Saenz, encourage my son and help him continue to try his best.
SCYBR is simply awesome! I can't thank them enough!
