Mission: To carry out certain provisions of the collective bargaining agreement between the southern california district council of laborers (affiliated with the laborers international union of north america) and its affiliated local union no. 300 laborers asbestos agreement.
Programs: Representation of contractors in the construction industry who are signatory to one or more collective bargaining agreements with labor organizations that are affiliated with the building and construction trades department af of l/cio. Managed and represented association members in their labor relations concerns including: contract negotiations with union officials; contract interpretation; and grievance matters. Prepared and distributed labor relations bulletins regarding general information and wage and fringe benefit rates to association members.
