Mark Wilson has been a great property manager. On call and there whenever. I love the way Marvin cuts grass at the residents houses.

I'v had the good fortune to work with this orgnaization on and off for over 15 years. As a mortgage lender with a career built entirely around meeting the needs of first time homebuyers, I've had ample opportunity to work with Southeastern Housing when they have people ready to make the leap to homeownership.

The preparation with the potential homeowner to be 'fiscally ready' (both financially and mentally) has already occurred through the indiviualized guidance received from the Foundaton. Many times the Foundation will refer these future homeowners to us to offer a plan to address their credit needs to become 'mortgage ready'. We construct the plan, but the Foundation helps the client effect the plan.

I endorse the Foundation for inclusion in the 'top rated list' as I believe they have successfully helped numerous low- to moderate-income households achieve their dreams of homeownership.

In 2004 I bought a house from Southeastern Housing, it was a smooth transition and they were so helpful even with the financing. The staff was friendly and courteous, treated us like family. The property was beautiful and perfect for my husband and I. I am still in the home but if i ever wanted to move I would start with Southeastern Housing.
