Mission: The mission of the discovery playhouse is to create fun, creative, and interactive experiences for children and their caregivers as they play, discover, and learn.

Established in 2006 by a group of community leaders, the museum opened at its current building in the spring of 2010. As a member of the association of childrens museums, we strive to follow best practices when it comes to providing highly engaging exhibits and programs, as well as, excellent customer service.
