Programs: Child advocacy center - haven house operates three child advocacy centers in homer, kenai, and seward. Through these programs, we provide a coordinated, child-friendly response to children and families impacted by child abuse. In each community, haven house coordinates and participates on the local child abuse response teams, consisting of law enforcement, mental health providers, office of children's services, district attorney's office, and the child advocacy center. This coordinated approach serves minimizes trauma to victims and promotes more successful outcomes in court.

child and youth assistance - haven house administers the child care food program, which is a federal program that reimburses local childcare centers across the kenai peninsula for healthy food served to children. The program provides support, education, and oversight to healthy meal practices of participating childcare centers.

victim services - haven house provides a 24/7 shelter available to women and children who have been impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault on the southern kenai peninsula. Through the victim service program, haven house operates a 24/7 crisis hotline, provides legal advocacy, and educates the public about dynamics and prevalence of violence in the community.
