Mission: A volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve, protect and enhance the 2,110 acre south mountain reservation in essex co. , nj through public service, free public hikes, forest regeneration activities, construction and maintenance of trails and infrastructure, removal of trash and overall program planning in partnership with essex co.
Programs: Provided guided hikes, created and improved trails, cleared litter and debris, sponsored an art and music festival, restores a shelter, repaired a plank bridge and analyzed trail needs for coming years.
