Mission: The organizations purpose is to create awareness in the community of the specific needs of both the montgomery county south regional library and the george and cynthia woods mitchell library and their function as a cultural and educational asset to south montgomery county.
Programs: South montgomery county friends of the library is dedicated to providing support to the south regional and cynthia woods mitchell branches of the montgomery county library system. They make financial contributions that allow the libraries to offer programs and purchase new books, equipment and other resources beyond the county budget.
