The Soul Of My Footprint is one of the most soul-fulfilling, non-profit organizations ever! The experiences I have encountered have been priceless.

I am sponsoring my daughter, educationally, in Uganda and I will forever be indebted to the Pastor and Elect Lady for caring for her daily and showing her love.

Volunteering with The Soul of my Footprint has changed my life! Initially I donated money to help fund the mission of this organization. When I heard that medical personnel was needed to be a part of the first medical team, I thought, I am a nurse. I love to travel and do community service so I should go. Little did I know that this was no ordinary community service. Seeing the vast need of the people of the villages in Uganda changed the way I live my life. The things that we take for granted in America like owning a pair of shoes, having electricity, running water, medical care when you’re sick, food to eat and shelter from the rain, they do not have access to. At the same time, they are so kind and appreciative for the smallest things. I will never take things for granted again. I will raise more money, reach more donors and collect more supplies now that I’ve seen first hand the need. Volunteering with The Soul of my Footprint, I feel that I give so little but I receive so much in return. I am proud to serve as a board member.

I am honor to be affiliated with this organization. I have been a board member for a little over a year, and is excited about going to Africa 2019 for the grand-opening of the medical clinic in Africa. During my 2018 tenure I have attended board meetings, fundraisers, and helped with the packing. I've known Alfie Jelks for several years now. In my eyes he's the greatest! Alfie, the CEO of the Soul of My Footprint has the passion, and energy to continue providing for this Village as he has done for years. Where as he started with a few, and now traveling with more than 30 individuals who are sharing the same passion. This organization deserves any awards that demotrates appreciation for such an outstanding organization.

My besties and I gathered for our Homecoming Alumnae Reunion this past weekend. During that time, I shared with them what had been shared with me, information about The Soul Of My Footprint. They were eager to contribute and for starters they purchased a cute t-shirt to wear to one of our many gatherings that would take place over the weekend. I kept saying, “ THIS BROTHER IS BUILDING A HOSPITAL IN AFRICA YALL.” Because we always party with a purpose, we not only caught up with what’s been happening in each other’s lives, but we’re now helping build healthy lives in Africa.

The Soul of My Footprint is an amazing nonprofit that supports those in need in the country of Uganda. I was fortunate enough to be able to travel with this organization to Uganda and participate in the great work that it does. We were able to give out shoes, dental hygiene products, feminine hygiene products, and medical attention and supplies. We were also able to witness the building of a hospital in the village where we were giving out supplies. The people were extremely grateful for our assistance. The Soul of My Footprint made a tremendous impact in the lives of many people in Uganda.

Soul of my Footprint Inc changed my life forever by showing me the true meaning of mission work. I took my first trip in 2016 and gave shoes, toothbrushes, school supplies and medication to hundreds of grateful children. Seeing the items you collected and donated given out to appreciative children is very rewarding. Knowing you've changed a child's life is priceless.
