Programs: Soroptimist house of hope operates one recovery and one transitional house for chemically dependent women,to help women recover from their addiction and introduce them into mainstream of life. The organization downsized in 2011 turning one of the recovery homes into the transitional (re-entry) and closing the leased re-entry facility on july 1, 2011. The organization had 1,717 units of service in recovery house, 1 unit representing one day of residence, and 823 units of service in transitional house, with recovery rate of at least 73%. Gave follow-up service to graduates, helped in community affairs and educated community on scope of recovery program available.
