It is an honor to serve this strategic organization and be involved as a board member. Since joining the board I have become even more impressed with the quality of the professional leadership, the policy governance board structure, and the significance of the funding raised for some many important not for profits and ministries.

There are so many charities out there, it is a challenge to find the right one. SEF helps people find a good fit. The people involved in SEF are passionate, committed, authentic, and trustworthy. I have a huge amount of respect for the commitment they show and the enormous impact they have. I feel confident in recommending them to anyone!

I come every month for 3 hours to sort food. I bring a group of 15 teenagers who love the opportunity to help and see that they can easily help get food to people. We inspect and sort the food so it can go out to people in need. The staff is friendly and truly caring! A great place to make a difference!

I was hesitant when I applied thinking I wouldn't be helped. But I was so wrong SEF really do care. They go above and beyond. I needed help with groceries due to waiting in my VA Benefits and losing my job after suffering a stroke. Thank you and the terrific team you have. I was exceptionally impressed by the process and speed. It took under two days.

$25 donation a month, not bad when you consider that it will turn into 500+ meals for the homeless!
