It is an honor to serve this strategic organization and be involved as a board member. Since joining the board I have become even more impressed with the quality of the professional leadership, the policy governance board structure, and the significance of the funding raised for some many important not for profits and ministries.
There are so many charities out there, it is a challenge to find the right one. SEF helps people find a good fit. The people involved in SEF are passionate, committed, authentic, and trustworthy. I have a huge amount of respect for the commitment they show and the enormous impact they have. I feel confident in recommending them to anyone!
I come every month for 3 hours to sort food. I bring a group of 15 teenagers who love the opportunity to help and see that they can easily help get food to people. We inspect and sort the food so it can go out to people in need. The staff is friendly and truly caring! A great place to make a difference!
Organizing community service activities for my company has proven to be a challenge with varying interests and new non-profits emerging, but the Sophia Elizabeth Foundation is my preferred and go-to organization.
The meals that they serve are one of the most well made meals ive had in the year ive been homeless. They put love in those meals or something. nothing compares to the meals served by shelly. I wish they could serve more meals more often
