Mission: Inspired by values of charity, humility, and social justice, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County provides person-to-person service of time, talent, and resources to help our neighbors in need regardless of gender, national origin, race, or religion. Our mission is to bring aid and comfort to those who are poor and suffering in Contra Costa County.
Results: We served over 141,000 individuals in the last fiscal year in both direct and in kind services. Each day our dining room serves over 150 meals, each week our clinic sees 30-40 patients at no cost, each month our drop in shelter houses over 100 guests, and our thrift stores give out over $100,000 of free clothes and furniture to those in need ever year.

Programs: SVdP-CC provides safety net services throughout the county including a free dining room that serves a hot lunch every week day, a daytime drop in family shelter, RotaCare Pittsburg Free Medical Clinic at St. Vincent de Paul, two thrift stores, Workforce Development Employment Training Program, and 27 conferences providing local help throughout Contra Costa County.
