Mission: The mission of social vocational services is to provide the training and support necessary for those who participate in its services to achieve their social, recreational, vocational and residential goals.
Programs: Day programs: svs programs are delivered and coordinated from 80 locations throughout california and serve approximately 5,000 clients. The day programs serve approximately 4,260 developmentally disabled adults in 66 of these locations and include community work, behavior management, community integration, and day activity centers. Transportation is also a component to the service.
supported employment program (sep): this program provides occupational training, vocational support and job placement services for approximately 480 individuals with developmental disabilities throughout california.
includes independent living and supported living services teach skills necessary to live in the community. Approximately 250 individuals served for assisted living services.
residential: svs has three level 4f homes in california which provide 9 developmentally disabled adults with a place to live and 24-hour services.
