Mission: To support charitable programs for children in need currently in 25 different communities throughout massachusetts. The organization accomplishes its mission by providing birthday presents to these children through its birthday smiles program. The organization also supports children, on a case by case basis, with financial requests through its smiling angels program. The organization identifies its service population by partnering with local social service organizations that are able to identify children in need of the organization's programs.
Programs: Smiling kids, inc was founded to fill a simple need, something everyone should be able to experience as a child, the excitement and thrill of receiving a special gift on their birthday. 100% of the donations we receive directly benefit the children. Smiling kids has established relationships with many social service organizations to provide birthday gifts to children and teens in need in the communities that they serve throughout massachusetts. We continue our partnership with birthday wishes (a non-profit organization which coordinates birthday parties for children at homeless shelters) to provide birthday gifts for the children they service in the shelters throughout massachusetts. In addition to the birthday smiles program, smiling kids is committed to helping children in other ways if the resources are available. Many times smiling kids is the conduit between community donors and social service organizations. Support has been provided to many community organizations through the smiling angels fund.
