This organization is dedicated to breaking barriers and afford those that are less fortunate opportunities to create a better life. This organization also works to rebuild our community as well trying to make it a healthier environment for everyday living. I am proud and honored to be a part of this organization.
Smiles of Wisdom, Inc (SOW) is a nonprofit that lends helping services to people in need far and wide. Not just here in NY but across the globe, SOW helps people and families with mental health and financial services and also empowers women and children and their communities to home in on their potential for the greater good. Looking out for the individual, groups, communities, and world at large, SOW is by far one of the most dedicated nonprofits I know.
On a personal note, SOW has been able to afford many giveaways of school supplies to our Rosedale, NY school community, ensuring that each child has what they need to be successful in their school days. It has been a pleasure to know and work with SOW and their goals.
Smiles of Wisdom is a fantastic charity that helps Haitian children and women. I have seen this organization in action and I was impressed and because of that I volunteered a few times last year during a Summer long yard sale to help organization and even worked on the flyer. All the sale proceeds went to help women and children in the United States and Haiti. Their goal of helping women and children in the US and Haiti builds a thriving community that keeps on growing in such a positive way.
