Mission: Slnc is a faith-based, not-for-profit health care organization committed to providing superior neurological services.
Programs: Slnc inc serves as the clinical practice division of the saint luke's neuroscience institute which leads the region in clinical outcomes and expertise. The team of physicians and other health professionals provides some of the most advanced neurological services available including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, clinical research, and education. During 2014, slnc recorded 29,000 patient visits. Slnc participates in the medicare and medicaid programs and provides services on a charitable basis for patients without adequate means to pay for their care. For 2014, the unreimbursed cost to provide care to medicaid recipients was $168,000. Slnc extends the charitable, educational, and health missions of its related hospitals within saint luke's health system and allows for saint luke's health system to better integrate neurology with its other health care disciplines.
