Skip Over Trouble Equine Rescue Inc

I have been a supporter of Skip Over Trouble for years and have visited several times. I am always so impressed with the care that they give to these horses that others had given up on. I have seen them take in a donkey that was terrified of people and with proper care and patience change him into a happy, friendly pet! I am especially impressed with how they follow up after adoption and take back animals if necessary. Penny and Jeff work very hard to make Skip Over Trouble a very special place and the love and attention that these animals get is heartwarming.

penny and her husband are awesome. They show their love and support for horses and other Animals by taking care of them until they are adopted not to mention the vet care for them. Penny never cuts Corners and she has a lot of knowledge of animals. This is an awesome organization.

I can't say enough good things about this rescue. I knew from my first visit there that it was the kind of horse rescue that I would be happy to help support. The facility was as clean and neat as could be, hay bags were stuffed full of first quality hay and to top things off, Penny, Crosby the owner and rescues founder was picking up manure out of the paddocks! All the animals there looked very content and were friendly and curious. After talking with Penny, it was clear to me that she truly loved each and every animal on the premises from young to old.

Skip Over Trouble Rescue also has an excellent handling and training program Horses that are up for adoption are evaluated for their level of training and when necessary, the time and effort is put into their retraining so as to assure their future success in their new life. Also perspective adopters are always welcome to take advantage of free lesson in horse care and also riding. Their “No questions asked” return policy also assures that adoptees always have a safe place to return.

Things have not always been easy for this rescue, and in the past, the majority of its day to day operation has been funded by Penny and her husband. They also do most of the care taking and work involved keeping the rescue up and running. Recently, support has grown some and hopefully will continue to do so. Skip Over Trouble is a very worthwhile rescue.

Amazing place ran by the most amazing people. The horses here receive the best care . Not only are they well cared for, they also receive the benefits of being loved.
This rescue goes above and beyond to find the perfect home for each and every horse there.
The rescue is always clean and we'll maintained. Horses always seem happy and well cared for.
I have and will continue to donate and to help in any way that i can to support Skip Over Trouble Rescue. Outta one of the few great rescues left.

This rescue does such a great job with the rehab and rehoming of the animals in their care. Wonderful people who put the animal's welfare above their own! They also put on some great shows this year to showcase their efforts and to enable the public to enjoy a horse show in a casual, comfortable atmosphere.
