Mission: The skating council of illinois provides programs to encourage participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating on ice.
Programs: Hosted synchro illinois, a non-qualifying synchronized team skating competition.
hosted dance-pairs chicago, a nonqualifying competition.
organized the illinois grand prix of figure skating, a series of 9 competitions leading up to a final championship competition.
hosted a high school team competition series
hosted a school for judges and prospective judges.
provided technical equipment to member and non-member clubs to support electronic scoring and video replay at figure skating competitions, plus music equipment at competitions and test sessions.
preparation for the national theatre on ice competition, to be held in june 2018.
