Mission: Dedicated to involving our community in restoring wild salmon populations for future generations.
Programs: Monitoring. Trained volunteers donated over 1,420 hours collecting valuable data and assessing habitat conditions at dozens of sites throughout our watersheds. Habitat restoration: planted 26,390 native plants covering 76 acres along 5. 2 miles of waterways. We opened over 10. 6 miles of habitat to fish by removing fish passage barriers. And restored 1. 8 acres of nearshore habitat by the removal of 11,600 cubic yards of saw dust and wood chips. Education and outreach. Educated 8,969 community members and 2,044 students. Volunteers contributed 8,190 hours of service for restoration and monitoring.
