As a board member, I can not say enough about the passion and drive that this non-profit organization has towards accomplishing their goals while staying diligent towards upholding their mission and vision. The staff and board members desire to revitalize the Shively community by providing hope to families in need - food pantry, financial assistance, counseling, prescriptions, Meals on Wheels, and clothes closet - is inspiring. Through this hard work and dedication towards this cause, Shively Area Ministries has been able to accomplish many milestones over the last several years and they have built some strong partnerships within the city and local community.
