Causes: Children & Youth, Education, Human Services, Thrift Shops, Youth Development
Mission: To enhance the quality of life for individuals, families and communities through education for children, their parents and caregivers.
Programs: Youth development programs, general/other: sharing inc. /rise has been able to continue to provide activities for disadvantaged and at risk youth/teens. We continue to draw together other critical community service entities, businesses and individuals to help provide hope for the less fortunate and downtrodden. Our goal is to continue to inspire the local community to work together by using their available resources, sharing their knowledge and blessings so that all may reap the benefits of a strong and spiritually healthy community. We also intervene with youth who are at risk of failing or quitting school, have been involved in criminal activity and are incarcerated, are using drugs, are sexually active, been diagnosed with add/adhd, and the like not otherwise specified. Our goal is to educate at risk teens about christian values, taking control of their destiny in a positive manner through available community resources which may help deter future destructive choices. We guide them to seek to empower themselves to become, peaceful, hopeful, happy, productive citizens in their community.
