S.C.F addresses the 5 protective factors that is the foundation's way of strengthening families they approach parental resilience, social connections ,support in times of need , knowledge of parenting and child development and social and emotional competence of children & there families ,basic skills training and creative conflict resolution. They also provide basic needs and referrals through concrete support like food, clothing ,housing, transportation, and access to health care and fire arm prevention . When they are able to help families through social service referrals & resources that changes the way they meet there everyday needs it reduces there stress level to help ensure the safety and well being of our children ,families& communities.
