the auxiliary provides limited scholarships to nursing and other medical- related services to individuals at the florida gateway college. Recipients are selected based on demonstrated need and qualification, in cooperation with college officials. The auxiliary also provides 1,000 scholarships to high school students who are and have been residents of columbia county for many years. Recipients are selected based on grades, in-school activities,volunteer participation and financial need.
