Programs: Swan engaged in educating the public, supporters, governmental agency staff and members of congress regarding the needs of and issues impacting women in the military, such as military sexual trauma, including the marines united scandal and the need for a change to the uniform code of military justice to criminalize the non-consensual sharing of personal digital images and metoomilitary. Actively created messaging for digital media platforms, website, email correspondence, and traditional print and radio media.
swan hosted its 2nd annual summit for military women and service providers who assist them. The 2017 summit was entitled mental wellness bridging the gap between research and solutions and worked to create community among women in the military across all branches, status, and areas of service,
developed resource portal to connect military women to necessary resources in their communities.
