Causes: Job Training, Sheltered Employment
Mission: Service enterprises, inc. Of minnesota through effective partnerships, provides quality vocational training, job opportunities, habilitative and other services to individuals with disabilities to promote their independence and active participation in their communities.
Programs: The community/supported employment program provides employment support services to individuals with physical, cognitive, and mental disabilities to maintain and improve their vocational functioning, increase earnings and achieve competitive employment.
the day training and habilitation program promotes achievement of both individual and vocational goals, including employment in the community in an integrated setting. Other program components address personal care, daily living skills as indicated in individual habilitation plans, skills assessment, and job coaching.
the waiver employment support program provides community support for a person that qualifies for services under the cadi and tbi waivers. Individuals with physical, cognitive and mental disabilities are provided support to maintain their vocational functioning in a community employment situation.
the work assessment and transition to work programs are designed to assess, remediate, and augment the vocational behaviors and skills of individuals with mental and physical disabilities. The program goals are to obtain suitable employment and achieve an earned income. The programs are provided on-site or in the community.
