caltran is a rural public mass transportation service providing both demand and subscription service. A priority emphasis is placed on availability of service to the elderly and disabled. The program offers regular routes to medical centers in nearby counties, as well as various other stops such as: nearby emplyment centers, grocery stores, beauty parlors, etc.
clothes cupboard is a local thrift store. It also provides items for free in times of personal or natural disaster through interagency referrals and matching cost program for income-eligible guests
rsvp (retired senior and volunteer program)this is a volunteer placement program which focuses on the placement of volunteers age 55 and older in the community. Volunteers are placed with agencies and not for profits within the community in need of their expertise and support.
