Programs: 106,650 hot meals were provided monday through friday to 653 homebound clients who have little or no support from family or community. Our dine- in frozen meal program, where seniors choose which meals to to have delivered to their homes,provided 490,843 low sodium, high protein meals to 2,116 clients 7 days a week. Senior transportation provided 95,143 trips to 3,548 clients for a total of 1,121,945 miles of non-emergency, medical transportation for medical appointments, physical therapy, dialysis, as well as transportation to group dining sites, adult day care facilities, and senior centers. 178 senior activity dining clients were served 17,495 hot meals and participated in socialization, fitness classes and nutritional education.
adult day care offers a safe, nurturing environment to those unable to remain safely at home by themselves. It also provides valuable respite for caregivers who are caring for loved ones on a 24 hour, seven day a week basis. Our adult day care centers provided 99 clients with 13,312 days of care. Our home care services provide clients with assistance with daily living skills such as light housekeeping, bathing, laundry, and meal preparation. We served 189 clients with 27,0 hours of care. Assisted living provides 19 low income seniors 24/7 care. It is home to 19 clients who stay 5,429 days. These seniors have no other home and many have no families. Many of our clients call our assisted living home. 92 clients were provided grass cutting and minor home repair services. Our insurance services provided counseling services to over 7,000 clients, trying to select the proper medicare part d, medicare advantage, or medicare supplement plans.
