grocery delivery program enables seniors in alexandria who are unable to do their own grocery shopping to order groceries and have them delivered by volunteers. Orders are taken by phone, there is no minimum order, and no delivery fee. Volunteers will also help put away groceries and remove outdated products.
other programs include animeals, caring connections, information and education programs, and the friendly visitor program. Friendly visitor program pairs volunteers with socially isolated seniors. Approximately 4,000 friendly visits are made per year.
