trep the transportation reimbursement and escort program (trep) is run by san bernardino county department of aging and adult services (daas). Daas will arrange reimbursement for eligible trips through the senior and disabled fund of san bernardino co. (sdf)trep operates in 3 county areas: the victor valley, the north desert and, morongo basin. The trep program allows for eligible participants to receive reimbursement for qualified travel. Eligible participants are reimbursed at 48 cents per mile. Eligibility is determined by daas. Participants are responsible for securing their own drivers. Daas ensures participants do not exceed their allotted miles per month. The senior and disabled fund (sdf) receives validated invoices from daas and generates a check to the participant for the authorized amount. The senior and disabled fund serviced 172 clients, driving 234,473 miles.
