Causes: Domestic Violence, Family Violence Shelters, Homeless & Housing
Mission:
Dedicated to seeing an end to the cycle of violence, SafeHouse of Seminole reaches out to educate the community and provide a coordinated response to prevent the epidemic of domestic violence. The response includes the provision of an emergency shelter, counseling services, a 24-hour crisis hotline, a court advocacy and outreach program, an early intervention and prevention program, community education and training, case management services, child assessment, support groups, information and referrals, and safety planning
Programs: SafeHouse provides a confidential safe house for victims of domestic violence and their children. During their stay, residents will receive individual crisis counseling and safety planning, support groups, service management, referrals to resources, children's services and personal advocacy.
