Mission: To empower children and adults with developmental disabilities to live a life that best speaks to their unique self and supports their choices, needs, wants and hopes.
Programs: Provides services and supports to children and adults with developmental disabilities. This includes the following: a) waiver and family support servies (fss) respite (safe supervision), b) fss recreational respite (social and recreational opportunities), c) waiver community habilitation (support to facilitate growth in activity of daily living skills, social skills, community integration and community roles, and in ability to exert personal choice in ways that optimizes quality of life), d) medicaid service coordination (msc - general case management), e) short term family assistance (provide assistance (free of charge) to secure opwdd and medicaid benefits), f) in-home crisis respite, g) family reimbursement (for respite staffing services families secure), and h) self-direction services (fiscal intermediary and broker services for individuals purchasing needed support and services through their self- direction budget).
