Causes: Family Services for Adolescent Parents
Mission: Second stork provides immediate access to critical care items for newborns in need by working through staff in minnesota hospitals.
Programs: Each year, thousands of new parents across minnesota are stretched to bring their baby home from the hospoital with even the most basis supplies such as a safe place to sleep, diapers, wet wipes, clothing, and other essential items. In 2016, second stork partnered with 61 hospitals to assist parents in need by providing essential items to over 2,100 families. With the help of donors and volunteers second stork provided over 200,000 diapers, 319 play yards, and over 1,000 clothing packages to these families.
