Causes: Domestic Violence, Family Violence Shelters, Homeless & Housing
Mission: To empower those affected by intimate partner abuse and serve as a resource through community education, advocacy and awareness to eliminate abuse.
Programs: The objective of the event was to deliver messages to the attendees on abuse, mental health and other social justice issues and the effects on individuals and the community. Attendees were allotted an opportunity to ask questions and be provided with necessary resources to help with healing of traumatic experiences. 70 individuals benefited from the 2017 program.
