Homelessness is hard. You lose so much, your home, your sense of self worth, your personal security, your sense of belonging to your community, but the one thing you never lose, that is there for you night after frightening night is the unconditional love of your dog. Your amazing dog....provides you with unlimited love, emotional support, a reason to wake up the next day and try a little harder. Through all of this Seattle Dogs Homeless Program helps the owners of these dogs meet their needs.Tirelessly and selflessly SDHP answers the call for help providing supplies, boarding services and the so important (and costly) veterinary care.I have long admired the dedication and hard work of this group. Please help these amazing people continue to help the homeless dogs of Seattle and the people who love them.
Seattle Dogs has truly been a God sent to us. They came into our lives not long after I became homeless and got Loeboes. Whatever we have needed for Loeboes they have managed to come up with from food to emergency vet care. When our RV burned to the ground and we lost everything but each other they were there for us. They have given material things but more importantly , they have given emotional support when I needed it most. I cannot thank them enough and will forever be in their debt.
Thank you Seattle Dogs and all your donors, and thank you Lora and Dennis for so freely giving of yourselves! You guys are truly "Angels on earth".
This program saved my dogs life more than once. I was homeless for 3 years with 2 dogs, one a senior with normal old dog health issues…we never would have survived in tact without their support! I will be eternally grateful and in their debt!
When I was homeless and needed dog food and clothes, Seattle Dogs went out if their way to coordinate a meeting place with me. They gave me a lot of needed items, even a sleeping bag. I really appreciate this organization for helping me and so many others with dog food, toys, and vet care.
Seattle Dogs Homeless Program is amazing! They provide so much care, love and support for dogs that would otherwise be neglected. Cant say enough good things about this program!
Seattle dogs homeless program has sincerely helped me so much. Being out on the streets I have had nothing for my baby pit along with my friends with other animals. Lora has provided me with many food bags and necessities not only for Animals but for us too! Amazing women she is.
Seattle Dogs Homeless Program steps up and in to provide love and care for the most vulnerable and their equally vulnerable pets. They work to provide food, supplies and medical care for the pets of humans living homeless. Their work is always done with dignity in mind.
My daughters best friend dog had just been hit by a car and had no way of getting much needed get assistance and Seattle dogs not only guided us on how we could help cookie but helped us save her life.

I volunteer for Seattle dogs, and love what they do.
Whether it’s community outreach on the streets of Seattle, temp housing for dogs in need, vet care or finding new homes if needed, they go above and beyond to help pets and their humans.
I am so proud to volunteer for them and so glad the homeless population in Seattle has Seattle Homeless Dogs in their corner!
Seattle Dogs Homeless Program never stops helping pets and their families. The volunteers work 24/7 to ensure those less fortunate, those that are ignored, and in need are cared for. This is more than a nonprofit for dogs. Seattle Dogs Homeless helps humans too. Please if you are able to donate directly to them or to their vet for the medical needs that they cover. If each of us donates a little we can do a lot to help.
I don't think there could be a more dedicated couple to help
alleviate pain and suffering of the animals and humans in
Seattle. They risk their lives on the Seattle streets helping
the homeless dogs that live in tents, RVs and in cars. These
animals live a very hard life but are loved by their owners.
Seattle Dog Homeless vets the animals with neuter, dental
and many serious conditions. They need all the donations they
can get so they can keep helping these precious souls.
Linda Landin-- Donor & lover of all the animals
I don't know where to begin. These people have helped so many homeless pets and their parents, they are tireless. They spend much of their time on the road helping make these pets stay healthy and fed. Lora loves each and every pet she see's and then some. They have a vet, that works with them on the animals that are ill and need medical care. But that costs money, which is donated, even though people donate what they can, it's never enough, If they could apply for a grant, it would be a way for them to have the money for the vet and supplies on hand to save these needy animals. They find foster homes when needed and so much more, I could go on and on but I'll keep short. I'm just so amazed with what they do and how dedicated they are to this cause.
I love this program and the people behind it! They are grass roots, based completely on donation and helping the homeless and their pets get food, vet care, safety equipment and so many other things. They do so much good, and so many rely on their help

This non profit does so much for people and pets in need. I am very grateful for the support they have given my Homeless friends. Even when I reached out they help me. Thank you for supporting them.
I am so appreciative to Homeless Dogs Seattle. They helped me get my little well. His teeth were making him miserable. I appreciate all the hard work Lora and Dennis do.
This organization is amazing. I work at as Homeless shelter in Seattle that allows our clients to keep their animals while working towards finding permanent housing. Lora's generosity to these beloved pets has been a Godsend. She and her husband work tirelessly for the pets and people experiencing homelessness in Seattle.
I learned about Seattle Dogs Homeless Program through volunteering with a pet clinic in the same vein and since then have been a donor through outside sanctuaries, vets, and organizations - collecting medications, food, and other supplies for Seattle Dogs. I have always been impressed with Seattle Dogs and they are truly doing amazing work helping pets and their owners. Seattle Dogs is incredibly hardworking, hands-on, and personal. They form relationships with their clients in a way that many other nonprofits should aspire to! While they are small, Seattle Dogs is mighty and makes up for it with a huge heart. In every interaction, you can see the love and respect they have for each client and pet. Their mission is based in the passion they have for helping those who may be overlooked, underserved, or vulnerable and their desire to give all pets happy, healthy lives. Seattle Dogs is one-of-a-kind!
I have been involved in various animal welfare causes for many many years but SDHP stands out by far as the one I am most passionate about. Lora and her team are out there day after day, whatever the weather or circumstances, to help those who are most in need—and most ignored. Our pets are vital parts of our families and SDHP makes sure that these pets receive food, warmth, compassion, vet care and more. I am so grateful for this incredible organization!
Seattle Dogs cares for those that others choose to ignore. They understand the needs of the homeless and how much the pets mean to those who are homeless. They see those pets as the life savers that they are. They supply not just food, but Vet care and compassion. They help the invisible be seen. They love these pets, and go above and beyond for them.
I had the chance to join Lora on a hot day and handed out gelato to the homeless dogs. It was great to see what a difference Lora makes in these people's lives. By caring and helping their pets she is really making a difference as the pets are often the only companions the homeless have. I could not do this work but I'm grateful for people like Lora who are doing the hard work and really get involved
Every single penny goes to the people and animals that need it the most. This is the most effective, honest, full-of-heart organization I've ever come across. They're frontline soldiers, on the streets, every day, visiting homeless camps and RVs with respect, courage, care. They meet people where they are without judgement, and they give lifelines to animals and their people. Vet care. Food. Poop bags. Toys. Harnesses. Safety lights. Foster care for those who need it.
If you want to provide immediate, desperately needed support to some of the most vulnerable - this group should be at the top of your list.
But watch out: you might decide to foster for them and end up adopting some adorable new companions!
Not only does Seattle Dogs Homeless program do amazing work with the pets of homeless families, but they are able to provide shelter to pets in need of rehoming. I work with a small rescue and sometimes we are asked to help with more dogs then we have room for. On several occasions Seattle Dogs Homeless Program has helped us out by taking on some of those extra dogs. It is amazing how much they've grown, and the services they provide.
We adopted our dog Bear from Seattle dogs Homeless Program, he was one of the surrendered dogs from one of the homeless individuals that Seattle Dogs so generously assist with pet food, pet supplies, Veterinary care and even finding forever homes for these sweet dogs. As soon as I saw a photo online of little Bear, I knew he belonged with our family. He is the sweetest most loving little guy! Thank you Seattle Dogs for all the amazing work you do.
Lora and her team are out there every day in Seattle checking in on the homeless and their pets. She makes sure the pets have food, beds, blankets, coats, vet care, boarding whatever they need. I hope there comes a time that people are housed and safe and they are no longer needed but until then I will continue to support them in any way I can so they can do their great work!
