Mission: To improve the overall health of at-risk children within our community.
Programs: From july 1, 2007 through june 30, 2017, sealants for smiles has provided services in all 10 school districts in salt lake, davis, summit, tooele and weber counties achieving the following:* 570 school visits* 187,600 children participated in oral health education* 85,933 children have been evaluated by a utah licensed dental professional* 127,273 dental sealants have been placed on 39,844 atrisk utah children* $13,636,678 worth of dental services have been provided at no cost to parents or schools* conservative estimate: more than $200,000,000 cost of care prevented* the unmet dental needs of the children evaluated have decreased each year from 51% in 2007 to 20% for the20152016 year
