Mission: Our mission is to enhance the overall educational experience of each student at scripps ranch high school (srhs) by raising, managing and disbursing funds to be used by our teachers and staff. Funding requests represent the programs and projects that our teachers implement in the classroom that continue the exceptionally high level of educational experience our students receive each day and take with them to their college careers. We provide support for education, athletics, facilities and related activities for the approximately 2,200 students at srhs located in san diego, california (san diego unified school district).
Programs: Funding and grants paid to scripps ranch high school, a public high school in san diego, california, for use towards specific programs approved by the school's administration and the foundation's board. The grants supplement the school's budget for school activities, facilities, equipment, supplies, athletics, etc. With funds not otherwise provided by or available from the san diego unified school district.
the foundation's senior class pbo (2016) funded graduation activities and senior events for the senior class of 2015, not provided for by scripps ranch high school or the san diego unified school district. Approximately 200 senior class members participated in the various graduation activities and events.
turf & track: program receives funding and grants paid to the foundation for use towards the scripps ranch high school stadium repairs and improvements. Expenditures are approved by the turf & track board. Swim team: program receives funding and grants paid to the foundation for use towards timing equipment for the scripps ranch high school swim team program. Expenditures are approved by the foundation and must be towards the purchase of timing equipment. Weight room: program receives funding and grants paid to the foundation for use towards the weight room at scripps ranch high school. Expenditures must be towards the improvement or equipment for the weight room.
