Causes: Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection
Mission: To benefit instream flows for fish & wildlife.
Programs: We obtained 12 water leases with farmers & ranchers to help improve stream flows during the spring & summer for salmon and steelhead in the scott river and its tributaries. A total of 4116 acre-feet of water that benefitted 23. 6 miles of salmon spawning habitat was leased for $116,347. Monitoring of stream flow and fish use was also achieved, along with outreach to the community and beyond.
