Mission: Promote the cultural, educational and scientific exchange between brazil and usa
Programs: Organized 12 meetings of scientists, entrepreneurs and artists at the cambridge innovation center (2-3 talks per event, followed by networking and mentoring with participation of 40-80 people per event) and 1 major event (scibr summit) for 150 talented brazilians at the boston university.
selected 15 researchers to receive mentorship and travel support for 12 months with partnering entities such as the lemann foundation, brazilian agency of industrial development, boston college and others.
supported local networks for brazilian innovators in the usa. Events happened in houston, san francisco, new york, philadelphia, new haven, san diego and washington. Scibr is responsible for a framework of events that these groups use to meet and receive mentorship from their peers
