Mission: Scapegoat Garden accomplishes its mission in the form of:Innovative performance works layered with multi-sensory stimulation, attention to detail, athleticism, storytelling and vulnerability. These works of physical theater, created through collaboration are presented to the public in theaters, alternative performance spaces and on video.Community-building collaborative projects generated by exceptional artists, with diverse talents and skills, who support one another and the collective work.Ground-breaking arts education programs geared to, but not limited to, teenagers and young adults-making merging live performance with popular media (music, film and video) to engage, inform and transform through pioneering performances, workshops, lecture-demonstrations and educational videos.Significant contributions to the cultural fabric of Connecticut; encouraging the creation and maturation of local arts and artists through advocacy and involvement in community arts organizations.
