Save the Scenic Santa Ritas (SSSR) is a great non-profit that is incredibly effective in protecting the beautiful Santa Rita Mountains from the damaging impacts of mining. They operate on a very small budget but still are able to reach out to all the communities in the area. I've been a volunteer for many years and have met so many wonderful people that have enriched my life.
