Mission: Save Our Strays is dedicated in its mission to rescue homeless and abandoned cats and dogs, to obtain needed medical treatment for them (including spay/neuter), and to seek placement for these animals in responsible, loving homes where people understand the importance of a lifetime commitment. It is the philosophy of Save Our Strays that no animal will be destroyed (unless, of course, its health condition leaves no other humane alternative). SOS will make every attempt to place cats in indoor homes only, whenever possible. We emphasize the importance of spaying or neutering companion animals. We provide educational materials to schools and libraries, as well as other organizations and individuals, regarding pet care concerns and overpopulation consequences.
