I'm a preschool teacher, and before Save Million Trees, Inc. stepped in, we had no recycling programs in place. Now, after Save Million Trees made sure every classroom has recycling bins and got us all excited about recycling, you could not stop our four-year olds from recycling! Paper plates, plastic forks, leftover materials from arts and crafts....kids just cannot wait to get them in the bins! The bins are great - they are different colors for different items, but they also have pictures of items that go in them - making it extremely easy for children to choose. It's almost funny how, when one forgets to recycle and tries to place something in the trash, the other children step in and make sure every plastic for goes where it needs to. Many parents have told us that their children got the whole family recyling! Wonderful program! I signed up for their Stop Junk Mail as well, and my mailbox has 1/10 of the stuff that used to be there! I recommend warmly! This program works!
