Mission: The SCCYSC provides opportunities for all boys and girls, ages 6 to 18, to play soccer. Teams are formed in under-8, under-10, under-12, under-14, under-16, and under-19 age groups. All age groups have separate girls and boys teams. It is the goal of the Club to have teams balanced by age and ability. Recreation-level teams are formed as much as possible from public school areas. Recreation (Class 4) - teams are developed without tryouts primarily on the basis of residence. Competition (Class 3) - for U-10s and up, teams are developed on the basis of mandatory tryouts and a draft. Players are not assigned on the basis of school or geographic locations. The facilities we play on are provided by local schools and parks departments. We provide a numbered shirt, shorts, and socks for each player and at least two soccer balls and a goalkeeper's jersey for each team. We provide field set up and referees also.
