Mission: Sbcdc seeks to offer hope to underserved families in isla vista, santa barbara and goleta by helping them meet their most basic needs for food, clothing, healthcare, child tutoring, english language training and other community help services.
Programs: Food distribution program (food for angels): provided food for more than 20 families per week in isla vista, goleta and santa barbara. Sbcdc partnered with catholic charities of santa barbara, santa barbara hillel and santa barbara community church to provide for these people.
tutoring center: provided 15 elementary school age children in isla vista with a daily after-school program, which included: reading, art, english as a second language instruction, homework assistance and access to our networked computer lab. Served daily nutritious snacks to the children.
