Causes: Sports, Swimming & Other Water Recreation
Mission: The purpose of the san ramon aqua bears is to provide a summer recreational swim team for children who live in or around san ramon, ca. The team's mission is to provide a positive, fun and educational swim experience that emphasizes physical fitness, good sportsmanship, self-esteem, and personal victories in a family atmosphere. The team welcomes swimmers of all ability levels.
Programs: The organization operates a recreational swim team to train swimmers who then compete in local swim meets as part of the valley swim league. Practices begin in may each year and meets are held in june and july. There are approximately 200 swimmers on the team.
