Harmony and Healing has been providing live music to our community for the past six months. They would send different artist(s) each month and our residents always enjoyed the performances. The organization (Harmony and Healing) provides the entertainment to our residents without expectation of us paying back. Hi, to all who read reviews.. This is my first review I have ever written on anything. Normally, I’m not the type of person to write out anything negative. However, I truly believe it is important to All to be Informed of how we were treated. We met Lisa about a year and a half ago. We were trying to help some poor/homeless, kittens, and mom in our area. Our first conversation with Lisa, went very well, she was very helpful with advice and helping us trying to place the kittens with their organization. In the beginning, she was very well respectful and nice. That situation was resolved. then there was another situation of helping another homeless mom and kittens. Our next call to Lisa, she said we can’t do anything to help you right now. We said OK thank you so much. And then we ran into another situation of cats in need. We reached out to Lisa,, and for whatever reason, she yelled at the top of her lungs, and said don’t contact me again how many times do I have to tell you I can’t help you. And also received multiple text from her with derogatory/rude/unprofessional wording. We have no idea why she started to treat us so disrespectful. When we contact a rescue group it is because we are out there trying to help a situation. that is in desperate need. In the meantime, we had met a lady in Byron that was extremely nice and was willing to take three of the kittens. So we made our way out to Byron and she kindly took the kittens. Fast forward to six months, again we were out there trying to help another situation of mom and kittens in need. We contacted Paws Un Need again and again we got a response of, I told you don’t ever contact me again. Why don’t you listen how many times do I have to tell you. No reason behind any of this. So then we proceeded to contact the lady in Byron to see if she could help again and we got the same rude disrespectful response. Well come to find out Jermaine coincides with Lisa at Paws In Need. So for some crazy unprofessional reason, Lisa, decided to downgrade of who we are as people, etc. to Jermaine. So Jermaine said don’t you contact us anymore either. So because of all of this unprofessionalism/bullying/rudeness, quite a large amount of kittens and mom Cats lost their lives. We had no other help to get to help these poor animals. I have plenty of text from Lisa, from Paws In Need and text from Jermaine Byron that are full of bullying statements and downgrading to who we are as people. If I could, I would take all of the text that I have and put them on the reviews so everybody in the world could see how we were treated. I have multiple health disabilities, which affect me cognitively. So sometimes I have to have things repeated to me or reminded to me due to my health issues. And quite honestly, I was treated so bad to such a degree of bullying. It is actually in the discriminating form. We will also be writing a review on CC4C . I met Gemma years ago at CC4C and she helped us with a kitten. She was extremely pushy and rude and very unprofessional also. Years later, my husband called her and said he found a kitten. Would she be able to take it. He explained to her the kitten was young, but he was a little bit timid, and he said if by chance , you have any issues with the Kitten we will take it back. She invited him out, invited him inside to visit and he took her the kitten. For whatever reason months and months later, Gemma from CC4C decided to inform all of the other Rescue organizations that my husband took a kitten to her and dumped the kitten off to her and is stuck with it now Because it is too timid. This is completely untrue. Every day, I cry, wondering what happened to this poor little kitten wondering if it’s been treated OK. Also, I have sent and referred multiple people to call these two organizations. One person I referred to call over there was a very young girl that I was trying to help her get her mama cat fixed and a place to take her kittens to. When she called Gemma at CC4C, Gemma said to this Young lady, I can’t understand you because of your accent and until you can learn better English do not contact me again. What is wrong with these people?!!!!!! I have talked to numerous people that have been treated so rudely by Paws In Need And CC4C. My husband and I have helped and saved to some degree or another over 200 cats just on our own and have spent well over $45,000 to help these animals. Our town Is in desperate need of help due to so many homeless animals. These organizations seem to just care about helping the people that have large amounts of money to give back to their organization. If anybody’s interested in reading the text that I have from these organizations or listening to the voice messages that I have from these organizations that are derogatory/unprofessional, and most importantly BULLYING, Please don’t hesitate to contact me. It is not OK to bully people that have cognitive/physical disabilities in this world. It is not OK to bully anybody for any reason. When these organizations told us they were full and they could not help, we had other people call asking for help with the similar situation. They had no problem helping some of these other people. Once they realized we refer them over then they refused to help these people.the only thing that we have done that may have been an issue cause Have it, would be that we called too many times asking for help. Well, come on now we won’t be calling if we didn’t need help for dying animals.

It was a great experience and helped save lots of people it is great way to help less fortunate kids

The only reason this organization is filed with the IRS as a church, is that it allows them not to be transparent with their finances. Except for the obvious need for severe skepticism when an organization makes huge claims to humanitarian work but produces only some promotional videos and every trace of scrutiny shows most funds goes to other places than humanitarian work, one should also be gravely concerned to know that Amma keeps an elephant caged and chained in the middle of the ashram where she resides. There has been offers to pay for the elephant to be moved to a sanctuary for elephants but the poor elephant remains chained with Amma in the middle of the very busy ashram. The elephant shows strong signs of distress and anxiety with her head bobbing almost all the time. <br>So, an organization that hides their finances under the veil of being a church, though they’re clearly not a church, while torturing an elephant in their main ashram, shouldn’t be receiving any funds from any conscientious person.

I started volunteering at KindCause in April 2024. During this time, I learned a lot and acquired many new skills. Volunteering at KindCause has brought me many new experiences and helped me determine the direction I want to study in graduate school. I have to say that without this valuable experience, I might not be able to find out the career and development direction that I want to pursue. <br> I am very grateful for the help of Sunil and Sheeba, and I am also grateful for every skill and precious memory I have learned here.

I volunteer in the tech department, and it's always a privilege to help out wherever I can. Everyone is always super nice, and I feel a real sense of team when we're working together.

Hello! I am one of the founding members of the NASRA foundation and I am so excited to use this platform to share our message! The NASRA foundation is a fully formed 501(c) non-profit organization created to provide scholarships to worthy students in need. As a group, we are working hard in the name of our grandparents - the heartbeat behind our cause - to continue to pass it forward. In our 3rd year of operation, the NASRA foundation is excited to provide 10 $2,500 scholarships to students attending an undergraduate or graduate program in the fall. I volunteered for 1 week in the foundations administration office. I observed the founders to be loving, compassionate and patient towards the clients that they serve. This was truly an awesome volunteering experience!

One Bread has helped open my eyes to how many children in our communities are currently trafficked, survivors of this horrible trade, or vulnerable to being lured into it. It’s not a “far away” problem that doesn’t happen here. Plus, the legal system treats these victims as criminals, further traumatizing them by putting them in jail rather than helping them rebuild their lives. One Bread’s work to educate children and those who work with children, influence law makers and law enforcement, and, most of all, to directly support children who have escaped this life and are recovering from its effects is truly moving and inspirational.

I have served on the board for NCAPDA for 6 years. The operating budget far exceeds expectations for financial responsibility. The organization is run 100% on volunteerism and generous donations. The founder works 24/7 to bring education and awareness around the country and both on the local and federal level. In addition, the organization provides healing and support to loved ones whom have been devastated by the negative and dangerous impact of RX drug use. This organization collaborates with like-minded organizations in surrounding counties for the purpose of strengthening the outreach and impact of the mission.

I have had a terrific experience with Sentinels of Freedom. They truly care about helping disabled veterans recover from their injury and transition out of the military. Their professional career coaching, financial planning, and other assistance has been one of the best things to happen to me and my family. Would highly recommend Sentinels to any veteran that qualifies for their program.

I met Barbara a little over a year ago and knew she was an awesome person!! I didn't realize how grea of a person until I heard of all the wonderful things she does for these children. Since then I've purchased capes for my own family and donated to help bring smiles to other children's faces. I will continue to support Kiss the Toad Crations as long as I'm able!!

I was licensed through Agape Foster Family Agency and had a disappointing experience. After temporarily requesting removal of a relative placement to set healthy boundaries, the county supported returning the child, but Agape chose to rescind my license.<br><br>Throughout my time with the agency, the placement worker often pushed placements that were not a good fit for our home. I was never accused of any wrongdoing, but received little support or transparency. If you're considering this agency, especially for kinship care, ask plenty of questions and advocate strongly for what’s best for your household.

I have used Give Foundation to donate to Amar Seva Sangam, which is a non-profit based in Tamil Nadu. They do not have a front-end in the U.S to raise funds and Give Foundation allows me to donate to them, and receive tax deduction in the U.S. They essential serve as a pass-through. I had a very good experience very time. My donation reached the end-organization. They also sent me feedback obtained directly from the organization that indicated how the funds were used.
