Mission: Our missions and exempt purpose are:protection of the san diego area fishing environment by conducting scientific research related to developing and maintaining sustainable fishing practices. Educating the public on the health benefits of incorporating seafood into a balanced diet. Educating the public of the historical significance of the fishing community in the development of san diego's local culture.
Programs: Prepared education materials regarding dockside market. Managed discussions between fishermen and port of san diego. Participated in meetings of community fisheries network. Made a presentation at the working waterfront symposium in tacoma, washington. Maintained a facebook page that has increase to almost 1,000 likes.
