Soy voluntaria con la organizacion SALDEA desde marzo del 2019.he estado ayudando en el rescate de muchos animalitos,los cuales son inmediatamente llevados con un veterinario para ver su estado de salud primero,luego limpieza,desparacitacion,vacunas..Es una gran satisfaccion ver a tantos animalitos recuperarce y luego encontrarles un hogar donde le sigan dando el amor y cuidados que les ofrecemos desde el primer dia en que son rescatados.En lo personal estoy muy feliz de poder colaborar en lo que pueda ya que hay demasiados animales abandonados y maltratados en la calle y necesitamos muchas mas manos voluntarias para poder continuar con esta hermosa labor de amor hacia estos animalitos que nos llenan de alegria nuestros hogares y nuestra vida.Ojala podamos hacerlo por mucho tiempo mas y que cada ves haya menos perros y gatos por la calle.
I have been working with SALDEA now for about 4 years, first as a rescuer/foster and now as a member of our Admin team (and still actively rescuing and fostering). The thing I like best about SALDEA is that we have a rescue/foster/adopt flow for many of the animals that we serve. Our goal is to be able to offer healthy, loving animals to people who are looking for companions. We also work hard to help people understand that cats and dogs are not just things to be used, abused or discarded on a whim, but that they have feelings and can be loyal and loving members of the family.
SALDEA volunteers are a welcoming group of folk who are there to help each other help animals in our community. I recommend SALDEA to anyone who loves animals whether you are looking for a companion animal, a place to make a difference as a volunteer, or to lend financial support.
For many years we La casa de los animales, have been working with saldea. It is a great organisation expats and locals cooperating for the benefit of animals. Many adoption events have been organised, hundreds of animals have been rescued and adopted. Also some fundraisers and other activities were organised. We hope to keep working with saldea for many more years.
