total overall achievements co-hosted the spring chinook population dives and cordinated many other fisheries monitoring and habitat rstoration activities. Monitored water temperatures at approximately 45 sites in the salmon river and tributaries. Coordinated watershed education program in local elementary schools, and hosted community restoration related workshops, workdays and trainings. Worked on several large restoration projects to create and enhance fish habitat so young salmon and steelhead can find much needed shelter from wintertime floods and summer droughts. Continued to control 17 species of invasive noxious weeds without the use of herbicides on more than 450 sites throughout the salmon river watershed. Completed 5 acres of fuels reduction on 2 different private properties this year. We're focusing on creating long, linear fuels reduction zones that protect neighborhoods against wildfire and help facilitate the use of prescribed fire.
