Salmon for Soldiers brings over 400 veterans and their guests together with over 150 boater for a day of fishing and relationship building. This all volunteer organization just celebrated its third year...growing each year. I have attended all three events and I cannot explain how a day of fishing can change many lives. Old friends reunite, new friendships develop and all share a love of fishing. It is a day of giving back for the volunteers, and a day of acceptance for the participants.

Programs: Provided guided fishing trips for 95 veterans in addition to providing 367 veterans and their guests on 153 privately operated fishing boats at our annual culminating event
